12-year-old girl grabs 17M hearts with moving “Bohemian Rhapsody”

Naomi Aye’s talent is truly extraordinary, and her rendition of Queen’s «Bohemian Rhapsody» is a testament to that. At just 12 years old, she made a profound impact on both audiences and judges during her blind audition on The Voice Kids France.

With her adept piano playing and a vocal delivery that belied her age, Naomi’s performance echoed the legendary Freddie Mercury himself. Despite her youth, she exuded confidence and poise, holding the judges captive with each note she sang.

Her interpretation of the iconic song began delicately, gradually building to a crescendo of power and emotion. Judges Kendji Girac and Soprano were visibly impressed, with Girac rising to his feet for the duration of her performance.

What sets Naomi apart even further is her multicultural background and linguistic talents, being of Cuban and Hungarian descent and fluent in five languages. Her love for music blossomed early on, and her preference for singing while accompanying herself on the piano shines brightly in her performance.

As she continues to mature and hone her craft, there’s no doubt that Naomi Aye has a luminous future ahead of her. Her breathtaking blind audition serves as a testament to her talent and promise, leaving audiences eagerly anticipating her future performances and, perhaps, even grand concerts.
