This feat was even more impressive given D’Corey’s simultaneous involvement in another show and his ability to perform acapella when requested by judge Simon Cowell.

A Start From the Viral D’Corey’s musical journey commenced when he was just a nine-year-old third grader. After expressing a desire to sing the National Anthem at his school, Bates Elementary, his principal, Miss Dunn, recorded the performance and shared it on Facebook with permission from D’Corey’s mother. This marked the beginning of his ascent to stardom.
